
Computer Appreciation
Computer Appreciation is an introductory course that helps learners understand the basic concepts, components, functions and uses of computers. It develops essential digital skills, including using computer hardware and software, managing files, accessing the internet, communicating digitally, and applying computers effectively and responsibly in everyday life, education and the workplace.

This course is designed to equip student teachers with knowledge and skills to nurture children's learning and development through instruction of sports and recreational activities. It will include issues of health, nutrition, drug and substance abuse, basic first aid, sports management and fitness training programs.

This course builds essential digital literacy skills, covering word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and basic internet/email use. Students will learn to create and format documents, analyze data, design presentations, and navigate digital tools confidently and safely. Ideal for beginners, it lays a strong foundation for further IT studies or workplace computer use.

COURSE OUTLINE
This course will equip student-teachers with emergent literacy, language and communication skills in Lesotho primary schools. In this course, student-teachers will be introduced to a range of language teaching methods (Grammar-Translation, Direct Method,Total Physical Response, and Audio-lingual) strategies and techniques. It will also equip them different and ways of designing lesson plans in teaching literacy and assessment.

In this course, I will guide you through the exciting journey of discovering how creativity and innovation shape the entrepreneurial mindset. Together, we’ll explore how imagination, exploration, and creation—whether inspired by art, music, design, or technology—can become powerful tools for building entrepreneurial skills and attitudes.
You will learn to recognize opportunities, shape them into viable ventures, and develop the confidence to lead and build effective teams. We’ll focus on creating both economic value and social value, so that your ideas don’t just succeed in the marketplace, but also make a meaningful difference in society.
